The essentials for preparing the connection of your water softener, with a stock of cartridges for its pre-filter.
A complete kit for €139.90 incl. VAT
- 10-inch filter housing, 3/4-inch inlet and outlet, transparent bowl, bracket, wrench, and screws.
- 3 x 20-micron pre-filtration cartridges provided in total.
- 3 ACS DN20 flexible hoses, 3/4-inch male/female.
- 3 meters of crystal tubing and 2 hose clamps.
- TH hardness tester.
The role of the pre-filter
It retains suspended sediments, such as sand and rust particles, before the water softener. Limescale reduction is handled by the water softener.
Installation and maintenance
Kit sold without a water softener and without installation services. Check the connection compatibility before ordering. Assembly and start-up by a qualified professional. Replace the cartridge when it is dirty or when the flow rate decreases, depending on water quality and the filter housing instructions. Turn off the water supply and depressurize the filter housing before working on it.
